Report an Incident

When in doubt, report it.
Wisconsin’s number of reported antisemitic incidents rose again for the 8th consecutive year, marking a cumulative increase of 570% since 2015, according to a report released in June 2024 by our Jewish Community Relations Council.
Use the form below to report an antisemitic or anti-Israeli incident to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. The form can be used to report threats, incidents, or suspicious activity involving Jewish organizations, facilities, or community members.
You may also report an incident by email or phone. All forms of communication are welcome and encouraged.
Use This Form to Report an Incident
If you believe your or someone else’s life is in danger, or that a crime has been committed, please call 9-1-1 first to report the incident to law enforcement.
The purpose of this incident form is to alert the Milwaukee Jewish Federation (MJF) to allegations of antisemitic, Anti-Israel/Anti-Zionist incidents, as well as any type of potential security concerns for members of the Jewish community or towards Jewish organizations throughout the state of Wisconsin.
Completing the form should take no longer than 5-10 minutes; note that it is helpful for you to include as much information as possible.
For the purposes of this incident form:
- Antisemitism is identified as hatred toward someone who is Jewish, identifies Jewishly, is perceived as Jewish, or is part of a Jewish home, regardless of an individual’s self-identification within the Jewish community.
- Anti-Israel and Anti-Zionist incidents refer to words or actions which seek to destroy Israel as the Jewish homeland and/or blame all Jews for decisions made by the Israeli government. This is not the forum for complaining about those who disagree about Israeli policies or politics, which falls under free speech and freedom of expression.
- A security concern refers to any hateful or dangerous action that you believe is directed towards you or a Jewish organization.
If you are uncertain if the incident is antisemitic and/or a security risk, we still encourage you to fill out this form and let us review the details.
We have organized the form to encourage you to share the most important details of your allegation. You will have an opportunity to include a narrative describing the incident.
Confidentiality
While confirmed antisemitic incidents are included in an annual statewide antisemitic audit, complainant’s names remain confidential; names and identifying details will not be publicly shared. In order to ensure you are receiving the support you may need as well as to confirm the details of your allegation, MJF staff may reach out to you to ask clarifying questions regarding the incident you are submitting.
